WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERSONALISED DESIGNS AND BESPOKE?
Bespoke designs are created from scratch especially for you. Bespoke has a more involved process which includes a consultation, mood boards and everything designed to suit you and your big day. It’s totally unique and the designs are not reused.
Personalised ready-to-print designs are existing ones that we personalise with your details and colour choices. The colours can be matched to any swatch examples you have.


HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
The cost will vary depending on what you are planning. Ready-to-print pieces start from £1.50 for a save the date card and £1.90 for an invitation (including envelope).
Bespoke projects are quoted for on an individual basis based on ready-to-print costs plus a design fee. The design fee starts from £250 depending on the complexity of the design/s. We will always make sure you have a total figure for the designs you have ordered before we begin the process. There will be no surprises! All quotes and prices include electronic proofs & digital printing.

WHAT ABOUT VAT?
There’s no VAT to pay.


WHAT WILL THE QUALITY BE LIKE?
Our designs are printed on a choice of quality 300gsm Gesso (our most popular card), A fine Italian card, perfect for weddings with it’s gorgeous ‘hammered’ texture.
Silk stock, on a smooth thick 350gsm card.

More quality papers are available along with heavyweight boards for specialised printing.
All invites come with white envelopes as standard and luxe heavy-weight, coloured envelopes are available as an upgrade.


HOW DO I PLACE MY ORDER?
Email us with your requirements and we’ll send you a quote. When you are happy we’ll send you an invoice for 50% of the cost of your stationery as a non-refundable deposit. Once payment has been received, we can begin when you’re ready! For more information, please visit our How to Order page.


HOW LONG WILL THE DESIGN AND PRINTING TAKE?
Timescales for different projects will vary and we will agree deadlines with each client but 3-4 weeks for ready-to-print designs and 5-8 weeks for bespoke projects (depending on complexity) is the usual turnaround time. This includes the printing.


I NEED SOMETHING SOONER, CAN YOU HELP?
Depending on how busy we are we may be able to take on jobs that have tight deadlines. If you need something very quickly, we may add an additional charge but we’ll always try to help if we can.


WHEN WILL THE BALANCE BE DUE?
We’ll send you an invoice for the balance on your order once you are completely happy with your design. The balance must be paid before your stationery can go to print.


DO I NEED TO SEND A SAVE THE DATE?
If your wedding is on a popular summer weekend, you have lots of friends also planning a wedding or holiday in the same year or you might not know many details of the wedding until closer to the date then a save the date is a good idea.


WHEN SHOULD I SEND MY INVITATIONS?
If you have already sent a save the date, usually you would send the invite around 3-4 months before. If not you might want to do it 5-8 months before. Remember if your wedding is during a popular month or holiday season, it’s recommended you send a save the date or your invitations earlier.


CAN I UPGRADE?
Yes you most certainly can. All designs can be personalised with your guests’ names at the cost of 30p a piece. We also offer card upgrades. Lux card comes with a signature-coloured core running through the centre. Pick your signature colour from a choice of 11 and we’ll sandwich it between two additional pieces of card to create a triple layered effect. How about magnetic card? perfect for the fridge door. WHAT IF I WANT OTHER ITEMS AFTER I HAVE RECEIVED MY INVITATIONS WILL THE COLOURS BE THE SAME?
We use a professional printing company to do all our printing to ensure we give the best quality possible. Often the colours are the same but as it’s digital printing and the later prints go on a different press it can sometimes affect the colour slightly. For this reason we suggest ordering a few extras just encase.

CAN I GET A SAMPLE?
Yes, we can send you a sample pack, we do have to make a small charge for this. Please get in touch if interested.


CAN I GET A PRINTED PROOF?
Of course! Printed proofs are available at a cost of £25 a piece.


IF I LIKE ONE OF THE DESIGNS BUT WOULD LIKE A SMALL CHANGE OR ADDITION IS THIS THEN A BESPOKE SERVICE?
No this is not classed as a bespoke service, Please get in touch to discuss, I would be happy to help.

I’VE CHANGED MY MIND, CAN I GET A REFUND?
We’re sorry but the 50% deposit you pay to book your project in is non-refundable.


HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?
Shipping is weight dependent. Its starts at £6 and rarely goes above £12.


THERE’S A MISTAKE IN THE TEXT OF MY DESIGN.
We ask that you check your design proofs really carefully before signing them off and letting us send them to print. Once they go to print no further amends can be made. If you do find a mistake that you missed, don’t panic. Contact us and we will discuss reprinting, unfortunately we will need to charge for this.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use any material (for example poems and hymns in your Order of Service or photography/imagery on bespoke stationery) you ask Ivy White to include in your stationery. Ivy white does not supply original artwork for printing with other suppliers.
With regards to copyright permission for hymns and poems you wish to use within your Order of Service/Ceremony. Please seek permission to use any material from your vicar or registrar before you ask us to include it in your stationery.


CAN YOU COPY THIS DESIGN?
Due to copyright infringements, we will not copy an existing invitation created by someone else. We are happy to use an idea as inspiration for a bespoke suite.
